The women's bible study is focused on bringing women closer to God so that they would understand God's vision in creating them, and to see the value they have in God's eyes.
The Children's Ministry at YWAM Queretaro started with the intention of offering programs for children in the community, such as English classes, art classes, and programs for holidays. The base staff is intentionally involved in these activities and in building relationships with the children who attend, forming friendships that allow us to speak into their lives and hearts with the gospel. Over time we have seen how we can reach entire families through children. We want to help children see that they have identity and purpose and that Jesus loves them.
Tianguis ministry is a cafe we provide in the local Tianguis market that is open right in front of our base every Friday night. We use the opportunity to get to know those who sell and buy, give away some coffee, and share the light of Jesus! We’ve formed a community of friends there who have gotten involved on base in other ways through Kids’ Classes, Women’s Bible Study and Evening Edition Bible Classes. We love having the chance through this cafe to meet and encourage new people from our city every week!
Worship + Intercession
We believe that worship changes atmospheres! Every Monday and Thursday morning we gather as a base for a time of Worship and Intercession over our neighbourhood, city, and the nations.
Many people in this community of San Juan del Río are hungry to learn and grow. As a result, YWAM Q offers “night edition classes” for all the trainings we offer on base. Adult and local learners attend these night classes and are not only receiving practical training in areas such as leadership and English acquisition, but are also able to take courses that help them learn more about the Bible, study God’s Word, and discover their identity and destiny in God. Students who are not saved or have never been to a christian church have attended these courses and are encountering the Lord for the first time in a tangible way!
