Training Schools

Working with YWAMQ gives you a unique opportunity to combine mission service with continuing education! We offer four training courses through the University of the Nations, a university that was founded in 1978 on Biblical principles with a focus to "make disciples of all nations." (Matthew 28:19-20). The U of N is a degree-granting institution, allowing students to earn degrees at the Associate's, Bachelor's and Master's level. Each of these courses will grant university credit hours that can be applied towards earning an associates' or bachelors' degree through the University of the Nations.

If your plan is to only serve/train short-time with YWAM, you will still be able to request any earned university credits be transferred to the university where you plan to continue your studies*. Click on one of the courses below to learn more.

Next DTS: July 24, 2024

Next SLMD: TBD

Next DBS: TBD

Next Worship School: TBD

Please note that the entry-level training course is the Discipleship Training School (DTS) and successful completion is required before taking any of the other courses listed. It is also a required training for those wanting to serve as full-time staff.

*The amount of credits transferrable will depend on each individual university's ruling. U of N students are accepted as transfer students, and are given transfer credits for those courses which are comparable to the programs of the receiving institution.
